There are 18 million people living in Syria. According to the Syrian Ministry of Expatriate Affairs, another 17 million Syrians live in the Diaspora. Maintaining contact among 35 million Syrians is a difficult task, made somewhat easier with modern technology and the Internet. Today, there are 610,000 Internet users in Syria. That number is increasing periodically. Syrian Directory is an online venue for all Syrians to meet, catch up with old friends, classmates, colleagues, and family members, both within Syria and in the Diaspora.
